This policy explains what information TeeybAds ("we", "us") collects through teeybads.com.ng, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We process personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
What we collect
When you apply to work with us, we collect what you type into the application form: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, business name, website or social profile, business type, revenue and advertising-budget ranges, whether you run ads, your preferred start time, the areas you want help with, and your answers about your offer, challenges and goals.
When you apply for a job, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the kind of role you want, any link you share (such as a CV or portfolio) and what you tell us about yourself.
Automatically, our server keeps short-lived technical records to stop spam and duplicate submissions: an anonymised (one-way hashed) version of your IP address and of your email and phone combination, with timestamps. These are deleted automatically within an hour (rate limiting) or 30 minutes (duplicate checks). Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs.
Why we use it
- To review your application and contact you about it by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- To consider you for roles at TeeybAds, if you applied for a job.
- To keep the website secure and free of spam.
We rely on your consent (which you give when you tick the box on the form) and on our legitimate interest in running a secure website. We don't use your information for anything unrelated to why you gave it to us, and we don't sell it.
Who sees it
Form submissions are emailed to the TeeybAds team. Our website host and email provider process this information on our behalf so the website and email can work. We don't share your details with advertisers.
Cookies and tracking
The application form sets one essential session cookie that protects it against misuse; it expires when you close your browser. This website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add advertising measurement such as the Meta Pixel, we'll update this policy first and explain your choices.
How long we keep it
We keep business applications for as long as we're discussing working together, and for up to two years afterwards so we have a record of our conversations. We keep job applications for up to one year, so we can consider you for future roles. You can ask us to delete your details sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
